Should the presidential candidates support or ignore calls to examine the accuracy and depth of the 9/11 Commission Report?

I strongly hope New Hampshire residents show the rest of the country their cumulative intelligence by shutting out the manipulative, power-hungry, deceitful D.C. fishwife from being elected to any future position representing the United States. The carpetbagger & the scalawag are two of the crustiest embarrassments this country has ever suffered and we don't need their phony concern or representation again.

There are many lingering questions that need to be addressed. A recent Zogby Poll shows that 51% of Americans want a new investigation. Six years on and we still do not have an "official" explanation for the collapse of WTC 7 either.

National Security be damned!!! I'll gladly sacrifice your kids And grandkids to get to the truth. I think that just because we might need to give up some top secret security measures to find out how these Islamic Extremists are infiltrating America, there is no reason to avoid the truth. The 911 comission was all about protecting the Clinton administrations support for terrorist organizations, foriegn and domestic. If the truth is discovered, perhaps we can move on to important issues, like a faster retreat on the modern battlefields of Iraq.

Because certain parts were omitted and the participation of some of it's members was irresponsible, I think it should be a priority of all the canidates, Democrat or Republican, to call the accuracy of the report into question and whether there should be further investigations

Sandy "Burgler" Burger took them. Nobody knows what he took, except Sandy and the person on the other end of his cell phone calls from the evidence room. Remember, vote Democrat. Their lies will free you more than the Republican lies will! (We're all screwed with Hillary in 2008)

Any candidate who would not support a new and truly independent 9/11 investigation is not going to get my vote.
The Hamilton-Baker whitewash ignored many pertinent facts (like WTC 7) while perpetuating the myths of the Bush administration. The real conspiracy theorists are those who accept the "official" story without researching the readily available facts for themselves. The first commenter made some good recommendations for sources to which I would add Prof. Steven Jones, and the last man out of the towers, William Rodriguez.

I love the theories and "documentaries" that suppose those at fault are man-monkeys like George Bush and his minions. It really makes me wonder what type of person seeks to place blame on anyone other than the actual perpetrator. You conspiracy theorists might want to frame your GED and hang it on the wall a little lower. That way, lower forms of life can read it and respect you because other humans will not.

I would fully agree that any new efforts for a re-examination of the 9/11 Commission Report should be considered. The new candidates should be aware that that book was ok, but in the sense some of the information given had many parts missing and not to mention some of the parts that were given were not even fully correct. 9/11 was a terrible day for the United States, so any efforts to examine and ask questions about the report. To look them over if you will so we can see what the candidates wish to do.

I heard that the "people" flying the jets were actually aliens from another planet, under the control of Pres. Bush himself!!! I asked a few questions about this & well, lets just say, I disappeared for a while... (Ohhh the probe...)
Are we starting to get a grip of what the Bush bashers are sounding like? I could go on.

The 911 comission report is fine. Finding fault with it in the past has all been proven to be an Anti- US / Anti- Bush head hunting expidition. Remember when the Bush haters said, of all things, that jet fuel can't melt steel? (I'm still laughing over that one!) Then a fuel truck caught fire on a bridge, and as you might have guessed it, the steel girders that supported the bridge melted!!!
Stop blaming Bush. Don't worry about what YOU might have to go without in a time of war. (In WWII people came to your door asking for any extra pots & pans to help make artillary shells, imagine the liberals if someone did that today?) America Did Not create Islam Extremists, Clinton just Emboldened them, they have been there for hundreds of years.

Every candidate should support a new look into 9/11. The first "investigation" was a farce. It was run by a member of The Bush Admin. named Philip Zelikow. There were many omissions and distortions. The family steering committee said that 70% of their questions weren't even asked. Why was the Saudi connection ignored? Why was the Pakistani connection with The ISI not looked into? What about The Able Danger program? Any people with serious questions should read the works of Daniel Hopsicker, Sander Hicks, David Ray Griffin etc. Paul Thompson's "Terror Timeline" is an excellent source for overlooked news stories and other problems with the official story.
